About Me
I am originally from Adelaide, South Australia where I completed my undergraduate and post-graduate university training to become a Clinical Psychologist. I moved to Launceston, Tasmania in 2005 where I consulted across a number of government organisations and in private practice work. In March 2019 I moved to Darwin, Northern Territory for a change of lifestyle, scenery and weather, and am enjoying the life that the tropics has to offer. I am passionate about helping people with their mental health difficulties and to assist others on their journey toward achieving their life goals.
Experience
I have over 20 years experience working as a Clinical Psychologist. My previous work has involved working for government agencies in South Australia and Tasmania in child protection, adult mental health and child and adolescent mental health organisations. I also worked with children and adolescents for ten years in the public school system of Tasmania.
For 11 years I was the co-founding partner of a private practice in Launceston, Tasmania, where I worked with adults, children and adolescents with a wide range of mental health difficulties, as well as completing cognitive and educational assessments, and offered supervision to psychologists working toward their clinical endorsement.
As part of this work I also provided a service to the Tasmanian Indigenous community through remote work to Cape Barren Island and the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre in Launceston.
Since moving to Darwin I offer a private practice to adolescents and adults though the Palmerston GP Super Clinic and via telehealth (video call consultations), working as a private provider with young people through Headspace Darwin, and offering supervision to psychologists and other mental health workers.
